MILITARY SUMMER PROGRAMS

We welcome members of the Armed Forces and Veterans with a disability to participate in any of our adaptive programs, free of charge.

Check out our 2021 schedule of events below.  Pre-registration is required!

 

  • May 29th – Mountain Bike Skills & Ride at Whitefish Bike Retreat 
    • All level riders welcome!  Bike rentals provided as needed.  10A-Noon Maintenance & Skills; 12:30-2:30P Group Ride. Register by May 20th through the steps below.  Only 5 spots are available. Contact Adam Jones at the Kalispell Vet Center to learn about transportation.
  • June 12th – Bike the beautiful Going to the Sun Road
    • Bike in Glacier Park before it’s open to vehicle traffic!  Bikes & helmets provided as needed (e-bike, standard, and adaptive cycles available).   7:30AM – 3PM.  Contact Adam Jones at the Kalispell Vet Center to learn about transportation.  Register by June 1st through the steps below.  Space is limited!
  • June 26th – White Water Rafting in Glacier
    • Join us for a full-day whitewater, with lunch on the river  – in West Glacier.  Must arrive at the designated meeting area by 9:45 AM.  Plan on a 5 hour trip down the best rapids in Glacier!  Space available for 8 Veterans  + 1 caregiver/family member per Vet; min. age 16 years old. Must register by June 15th through the steps below.  Contact Adam Jones at the Kalispell Vet Center to learn about transportation.
  • Date TBD (July) – Family Water Sports Day on Echo Lake
    • Join us at a private property on Echo Lake.  Family welcome!
      Water Skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, pontoon boat rides, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming.   Lunch provided.  10A – 3P.  Register by TBD DATE through the steps below.  Contact Adam Jones at the Kalispell Vet Center to learn about transportation.
  • Friday, July 23rd – Kayak & Paddleboard down Lake McDonald Creek
    • Enjoy an awesome point-to-point paddle, from Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park to a take-out downriver. 2:30 PM start, length of paddle depends on flow; plan on a 2-hour paddle.  Register by July 15th through the steps below.  Only 10 spots are available! Contact Adam Jones at the Kalispell Vet Center to learn about transportation.
  • Aug. 9th – Water Ski, Wake Board & Wake Surf Day on Whitefish Lake
    • Learn a new sport or improve your skills.   2 PM-6 PM with a grill-out after.  Come enjoy a great day on the water. Register by Aug. 1st through the steps below.  Space is limited: 8 Veterans + 1 Family Member. Contact Adam Jones at the Kalispell Vet Center to learn about transportation.

Returning participants:  If you have participated with us in the last two years, you should have an account in our online system.  Please follow the steps below to log in and register.  Here is a how-to video, should you need additional assistance.

  1. Log in with your UserName and Password:  Each individual participant must have a unique login and account.
  2. Update Your Profile:  Once logged in, go to the navigation drop-down on the right side and select “Update My Profile“.
    • Complete ALL information that is labeled for “All Users” or “Participants”.   Missing information may delay your participation.  This information will be securely stored in our system and you’ll only need to review it once a year or update it on an as-needed basis.  Hit save/submit at the very bottom.
  3. SIGN UP for Summer Programs
    • Once finished updating your account info, go to the navigation drop-down menu on the right side of the page that asks “What would you like to do?”  Select Register Events/Programs.  Then choose “2021 Military Summer Programs.”
  4. Liability Waiver and Media Release.  Click HERE to complete the TWO separate online forms.  If you completed these for the winter 20-21 programs, please skip this step.

New Participants  If you are new to DREAM or haven’t participated in a few years, follow the steps below to create a new account in our system and register for the summer Veteran programs.  Here is a how-to video that shows the registration process as well.

    • Once you’ve created an account, follow the prompts and Log-In.
  2. Update Your Profile:  Once logged in, go to the navigation drop-down on the right side and select “Update My Profile“.
    • Complete ALL information that is labeled for “All Users” or “Participants”.   Missing information may delay your participation.  This information will be securely stored in our system and you’ll only need to review it once a year or update it on an as-needed basis.  
  3. SIGN UP for Summer Opportunities
    • Once finished updating your account info, go to the navigation drop-down menu on the right side of the page that asks “What would you like to do?”  Select Register Events/Programs.  Then choose “2021 Military Summer Programs.”
  4. Liability Waiver and Media Release.  Click HERE to complete the TWO separate online forms.  Please skip this step if you completed waivers for the 20-21 winter programs.
