MILITARY SKI/RIDE WEEKENDS

Our Military program is for service members/veterans with a disability from any era.

It is our honor to provide you with individual lessons and group programs at no cost.

Ski/Ride Weekends

Enjoy the camaraderie of other service members/veterans on the beautiful slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort!

Included for our Military Weekends:

  • Standard ski/snowboard equipment rentals
  • Adaptive equipment
  • Lift tickets
  • Lessons from trained instructors
  • Lunch

Per our grant requirements, preference is given to Flathead Valley Vets.  For Montana Vets traveling from outside of the local area, we have additional (limited) resources to support your experience.

To Register:

New Participants  If you are new to DREAM or haven’t participated in a few years, follow these steps to create a new account in our system and register for the ski / snowboard program.

  1. CREATE an Account:  Each individual participant must have a unique login and account.
    • Click on the following link to Create an Account
    • Once you’ve created an account, follow the prompts and Log-In.
  2. Update Your Profile:  Once logged-in, go to the navigation drop-down on the right side and select “Update My Profile“.
    • Complete ALL information that is labeled for “All Users” or “Participants”.   Missing information may delay your participation.  This information will be securely stored in our system and you’ll only need to review it once a year or update on an as-needed basis.  
  3. SIGN UP for Winter Lessons by going back to the navigation on the right and selecting “Participant Registration: Alpine Ski/Board
    • Please complete this form as thoroughly as possible.
  4. Liability Waiver and Media Release.  Click HERE to complete the TWO separate online forms.
    • These forms must be completed once per year.

Returning Participants  If you participated within the last year, you already have account information loaded into our system.  Follow these steps to create a username and password, update your account info, and register for the ski/snowboard program:

  1. CREATE UserName and Password:  Each individual participant must have a unique login and account.
    • Click on this Login Link and go to “I forgot my Login or Password” at the bottom of the page in red.
    • Enter your email address.  You can contact us if you don’t remember which email we have on file.
  2. Update Your Profile:  Once logged-in, go to the navigation drop-down on the right side and select “Update My Profile“.
    • Complete ALL information that is labeled for “All Users” or “Participants”.   Missing information may delay your participation.  This information will be securely stored in our system and you’ll only need to review it once a year or update on an as-needed basis.  
  3. SIGN UP for Winter Lessons by going back to the navigation on the right and selecting “Participant Registration: Alpine Ski/Board
    • Please complete this form as thoroughly as possible

    • If you think you’ve completed an online Waiver & Media release within the last year, you can go to “Update My Profile” in the navigation drop-down and scroll to the “Waiver Due” field to find the date it’s due.
